Understanding E-liquid
E-liquid, popularly known as e-juice, contains propylene glycol, flavors, nicotine, and vegetable glycerine. To enjoy a great vape experience, different flavors are mixed, but it might take you time before you can make a mix that suits you.
Propylene glycol (PG)
This is a clear and runny liquid without a noticeable taste or smell. It is usually used as an ingredient in e-liquid because it suits the flavors. Aside from juice, it is usually found in personal care and food products and used in inhalers in the UK.
Vegetable glycerine (VG)
This chemical is thicker than propylene glycol and comes from plants. It also tastes and smells slightly sweet. VG is commonly sold in pharmacies as people use it for sore throat relief. Similar to PG, VG is also found in food products.
What does throat hit mean?
The sensation you can feel at the back portion of your throat is produced when vaping, and it copies the exact sensation you feel when smoking. Vapers often prefer a powerful throat hit, but others don’t like the feeling at all. However, throat hit can be changed by using and alternating different flavors and strengths of e-liquids.
Nicotine
This is a natural pesticide for plants that can also be found in the leaves of tobacco but can be seen in other plants like tomatoes, potatoes, and aubergine. Of course, this is the main component of cigarettes that triggers pleasure in your brain and links it as a form of relaxation, which is why many people are addicted to it.
